My husband is working between two different locations so he travels back-and-forth a lot. Our RV is in a park and we noticed the last time we were there a mouse was in the house! So obviously we set a trap, caught said mouse. But knew there’d be more. We investigated and determined they were most likely going in the slide opening. We’ve been back once since installing the guards, and no mice. Maybe the mouse will find a different way in, but they definitely aren’t going in through the slides anymore. It’s a great product and I’m glad we found it. My husband did fashion his own “cover” to go over it, but he was concerned what he used would possibly scratch the hydraulics, so we knew it was only a temporary solution. Needless to say, we are both happier with your long-term solution!

Worked as described have a Riverstone rv they left the hole so big in frame around slide mechanism had birds getting in camper so found these and was perfect fit. RVs should come with these on them. Why have insulated underbelly when giant holes left in frame?

I mounted these to my Brinkley Z2900 slideouts, and they work great. I had to do some modifications to them to cut around some frame mounts on the Brinkley, but they’ve held tight since installing them across multiple states and slide-out open/close events. Hope they last a long, long time.
